COST DATA (FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL): <br /> <br />It is anticipated that the initial construction of the project, <br />estimated at $268,500,000 would be financed from federal funds. <br />Of this amount about 12.0 million dollars would be allocated to <br />non-reimbursible purposes such as fish and wildlife, recreation <br />and flood control. The remaining 256.5 million dollars would be <br />allocated to irrigation and municipal and industrial purposes and <br />would be reimbursible to the U.S. Treasurer. However, under pro- <br />visions of the Leavitt Act of 1932 (47 STAT. 564), about 50.0 <br />million dollars allocated for the irrigation of Indian lands would <br />be deferred as long as those lands remain in Indian ownership. <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />:~ <br /> <br />.. <br />c. <br /> <br />12.
