Heidbrink is the Secretary of the Jackson Lake
Reservoir Company. According to his records the $1,556,00 which
is paid each year by the Hi11rose Irrigation District represents
the assessment on 194-1/2 shares in the Jackson Lake Reservoir
Company which are owned by the Hi11rose Irrigation District. As
far as can be determined these 194-1/2 shares of Jackson Lake
Reservoir water are the only assets of the Hi11rose Irrigation
District. Apparently the District exists only for the purpose
of distributing this Jackson Lake water to District taxpayers
lying under the Lower Platte and Beaver Canal.

10. Point of Rocks Reservoi~
The headgate of the North Sterling Inlet Canal, which supp1ieE
Point of Rocks Reservoir (usually known as the North Sterling
Reservoir) is located in Water District No. 1 near Hil1rose,
and diversions into the system are, therefore, administered by
the Water Commissioner for Water District No. 1. However, the
reservoir and the lands irrigated by the system all lie

.

.

+

WOODWARD.CLYDE.SHERARD AND ASSOCIATES
