The Water Commissioner is <br />Tom Platt. <br />Water District No.5 comprises the St. Vrain Creek Valley, <br />almost to its confluence with the South Platte River near P1atte- <br />vil1e. The Water Commissioner is Ca1 Maier. <br />Water District No.4 comprises the Big and Little Thompson <br />River Valleys almost to their confluence with the South Platte <br />River near Milliken. The Water Commissioner is Lloyd Blewitt. <br />Water District No.3 comprises the Cache la Poudre River <br />Valley to its confluence with the South Platte River just down- <br />stream from Greeley. The Water Commissioner is W. G. Wilkinson. <br />Water District No.2 lies along the main stem of the South <br />Platte River downstream from Denver, and extends to a point just <br />below Greeley. Water flowing into the South Platte River from <br />Boulder Creek, St. Vrain Creek, Big Thompson River, and the Cache <br />la poudre River (Water District Nos. 6, 5, 4, and 3, respectively) <br />enters the South Platte along this section. The Water CommissioneI <br />is Paul Meehl. <br />Water District No. I is the second largest Water District in <br />the State. It lies along the main stem of the South Platte River <br />from a point just downstream from Greeley to a point halfway be- <br />tween Fort Morgan and Sterling. It also includes the entire length <br />of major plains tributaries of the South Platte such as Crow Creek <br />on the north and Boxelder Creek, Kiowa Creek, Bijou Creek, Badger <br />Creek, and Beaver Creek on the south.
