Surface soils are gravelly sandy loam gravelly <br />sand, and very gravelly loam. <br /> <br />Mormon Mesa-Badland-Arada Association: Shallow and deep, well <br />drained and somewhat excessively drained, nearly level to moderately <br />sloping soils and Badland on Mormon Mesa, terraces, and alluvial fans. <br /> <br />Rock land-St. Thomas Association: Rock land, and shallow, well <br />drained, IIIOderately steep to very steep soils; on mountains and colluvial <br />foothills. The Rock land has areas of exposed limestone. The St. <br />Thomas surface is a cobbly loam. <br /> <br />Virgin Peak-Rock land Association: Shallow and deep, well drained, <br />steep to very steep soils and Rock land on mountains.
