The isohyetal patterns on these <br />maps for the winter season precipitation, October through April, are <br />shown in Figure 5. The New Mexico and Wyoming portions are based <br />on 1921-1950 climatological dat~/ and the Colorado, Utah, and <br />Arizona portions were developed using 1931-1960 records, 20/ Pro- <br />cedures used to develop these maps are described in a paper by <br /> <br />Eugene L, Peck and Merle J.
