This will be the annual pattern of <br />operation, but recreational use should be <br />excellent since recreational facilities <br />have been designed to accommodate this <br />seasonal fluctuation in water levels. <br />Since Flaming Gorge Reservoir now con- <br />tains about 1,100,000 acre-feet above the <br />rated head of the turbines, we will prob- <br />ably allow a seasonal rise in the spring, <br />then withdraw storage next fall and winter <br />for power purposes and end the year with <br />the reservoir at about its current level. <br />Navajo Reservoir will be held at its <br />present level (elevation 5,945 feet) until <br />February 1.
