<br />. <br /> <br />Corps of Engineers, and six viable plans have been identified. <br />The t"ecommended plan wo~ld schedule releases between <br />250 ft3/s and 22,500 ft Is, depending on the reservoir con- <br />tent. These proposed release schedules, in conjunction with <br />land acquisition for increased storage rights, are still <br />under study. <br /> <br />Fish and Wildlife Mitigation Measures: <br /> <br />Approximately 900 acres of land will be acquired and assigned <br />to the Arizona Game and Fish Oepartment for designation and <br />use as a wildlife and recreation management area. Fish rear- <br />ing facilities will be constructed to provide for the annual <br />stocking of 200 to 300 surface acres of ponds, lakes, rivers, <br />and canals in the Yuma area. An outlet control structure <br />and shallow well will be constructed to maintain the 12 acres <br />of water surface in the Hunter's Hole pond complex adjacent <br />to the limitrophe sectton of the Colorado River. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />f <br />
