C. <br /> <br />From: Regional Director, Boulder City, Nevada <br /> <br />Subject: Supplemental Report on Central Arizona Project, <br />Arizona-New Mexico <br /> <br />This is my report on the reevaluation of the Central Arizona <br /> <br />Project. <br /> <br />It supplements and brings current the data and concepts originally <br />presented in the December 1947 Central Arizona Project report <br /> <br />which, with review connnents, was published as House Document <br />No. IJ6, 81st Congress, 1st Session. <br /> <br />Authority and Financing <br /> <br />The preparation of this report is authorized by the Federal <br /> <br />Reclamation Laws (Act of June 17, 1902, J2 Stat. J88), and Acts <br /> <br />amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, particularly the Act <br /> <br />of March 4, 1921 (41 Stat. 1404), the Boulder Canyon Project Act <br /> <br /> <br />(45 Stat. 1057), and the Boulder Canyon Project Adjustment Act <br /> <br /> <br />(54 Stat. 774). Costs for preparation of this report were paid <br /> <br />from both contributed and appropriated funds. The contributed <br /> <br />funds were provided by the States of Arizona and New Mexico under <br /> <br />terms of contracts between the United States and the Arizona and <br /> <br />New Mexico Interstate Stream Commissions, dated April 24, 1961, <br /> <br />and August 2, 1961, respectively. <br />
