..~
t'-
~'?
C.:

-,

.-

MAXIHI = User supplied parameter representing the maximum

interval (high) between grab samples in days. If the

grab sample interval is greater than MAXIHI, then the

program will ignore the grab samples bord"ring the day

of interest.

Valid = Valid if both bordering grab samples are in the same

season (primarily for drains abruptly aff"cted by the

irrigation season - in this context, rivers have only 1

"season").

Reasonable = Incorporates two checks on the calculated TDS.

Reasonable if both:

i) this day's EC is near or between the grab sample

. EC's, and,

ii) the calculated TDS is within PCT2 percent of the

TDS calculated using the long-term TDS-EC regres-

sian.

PCT2 = User supplied parameter representing the maximum allowed

percentage difference between the TDS calculated from

the bordering grab samples, and the long-term TDS-EC

regression equation. If PCT2 is exceeded, the long-term

regressions will be used in favor of time specific grab

sample information.

.

A-2
