A capacity of 31,000,000 <br /> <br />acre feet would require a flow line at about 1296 feet above <br /> <br />sea level. <br /> <br />These figures includ" proliminary work and the completion <br /> <br />of the dam in shape to S3rve for storage purposes and upon whiCh <br /> <br />to install power plants, but do not include any other cost of <br /> <br />power development or transmission, <br /> <br />A reconnaissance has bJ3n made for two possible railroad <br /> <br />lines - one approaching from the wast and joining the Salt Lake <br /> <br />and Los Angele~ Railroad near Las Vegas; the othor approaching <br /> <br />from the north, being a continuation of the branch '8hich runs from <br /> <br />Moapa to St. Thomas. A raconnaissance should be made also with a <br /> <br />possible connection wi th the Santa Fe system to tl18 south, ,-lith a <br /> <br />comparison of the cost and results. <br />
