Water Year 1995

Lake Havasu is scheduled at the highest levels consistent
with the requirements for maintaining reservoir regulation
space. A yearly low elevation of approximately 135,9 meters
(446.0 feet) is scheduled for October through February to
provide storage space for local storm runoff. The yearly
high of about 137.2 meters (450.G feet) is scheduled in the
spring to meet higher summer water needs. During water
year 1995, a total of approximately 8,511 million cubic
meters (6,900,000 acre-feet) is scheduled to be released from
Lake Havasu to meet all downstream requirements. All of
that amount is scheduled to pass through the Parker
Powerplant.

The total estimated Colorado River diversions are 905
million cubic meters (734,000 acre-feet). From mid-October
1994, through May 1995; the estimated Colorado River
diversions are estimated to be 860 million cubic meters
(698,000 acre-feet), which includes 390 million cubic meters
(316.000 acre-feet) pumped into Lake Pleasant for regulatory
storage. The remaining 471 million cubic meters (382,000
acre-feet) used {or water deliveries. From June 1995, to
mid-October 1995; an estimated 44 million cubic meters
(36,000 acre-feet) will be diverted from the Colorado River.

ACT\JAL STORAGE 1894

M1LLJ011 a..c ..,...
'000

_D-'

0' .. - "'
V ........

D_..

...

721

100

...

7

7..

100

-

') ,. , ~ , ~ .,. .I' , I' " ~-

2l}

MOST PROBABLE RELEASES 1995

IIIlUJOtl CUM: ........
l2..

_D ........
In

./ '\
1/ ~
\ /
.......
-..,

.000

I"

100

...

100

-

...

...

... .
