Runoff in the SWP watershed is about <br /> <br />45 percent of normal and the state has announced 50 <br /> <br />percent shortages for agricultural water users. <br /> <br />b. A fifth <br />year of drought could be devastating for the SWP. <br /> <br />3. Central Valley Project. <br /> <br />a. Many Central Valley Project (GVP) <br /> <br />reservoirs are also at extremely low levels. The GVP <br /> <br />has announced shortages to its customers, primarily <br /> <br />agricultural water agencies, of 25 to 50 percent. <br /> <br />4. Los An~eles Aqueduct System. <br /> <br />a. Runoff in the City of Los Angeles' <br /> <br />Eastern Sierra watershed is about 47 percent of <br /> <br />normal. <br /> <br />b.
