The
3/4 mile of the, road would be raised to the top of the flood pool
or higher and a new bridge across the South Platte River provided.

County Road.--Because of the spilhray, the county road would be
relocated over the dam. From the north end of the dam 4~ miles of
new county road in sandhill terrain would be required. From this
point about 6 miles of unimproved road could be improved to connect
\lith an existing hard surfaced road at a point about 3 miles south-
east of Gill, Colorado.

U.S.B.R. Powerline.--Approximately 9 miles of ll5 kva powerline
would require relocation.

Telephone and REA Electric Lines.--Many of these existing lines
would be abandoned since the areas they serve would be inundated.
A lump sum cost allowance was made for relocating the few lines
remaining in service.

"

12
