<br />W <br />1'\) <br />c.o <br />I-'- <br /> <br />TRANSMITTAL LETTERS <br /> <br />The Federal Water Pollution Control Act requires that at least once <br /> <br />every three years the states of the Colorado River Basin review water <br /> <br />quality standards relating to the salinity of the waters of the Colorado <br /> <br />River. The states collectively initiate this review under the auspices <br /> <br />of the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Forum and prepare a proposed <br /> <br />report and a supplemental report. <br /> <br />Upon the Forum's adoption of these two reports, they are transmitted <br /> <br />to the individual states for their own independent action. The following <br /> <br />is a copy of the transmittal letter to the State of Arizona. Following <br /> <br />Arizona's transmittal letter is a li~ting of the recipients in each of <br /> <br />the states of an identical letter. <br /> <br />I <br />
