Total repayment received to <br />date amounts to nearly $138 million, which <br />is about 16 percent of the $850 million <br />completed plant-in-service and nearly <br />4 percent of the $31/4 billion projected <br />total reimbursable Federal investment in <br />the authorized storage units and partici- <br />pating projects. In addition to the amount <br />applied to repayment, the project earned <br />revenues sufficient to pay all operating <br />costs and current interest and replace- <br />ment costs. Operating costs of partici- <br />pating projects which have been turned <br />over to the water conservancy districts <br />for operation were paid by the respective <br />conservancy districts. More than one- <br />fourth of the projected Federal investment <br />was in service as of the end of the fiscal <br />year. <br /> <br />Power sales produced more than 95 per- <br />cent of the net revenues received during <br />Fiscai Year 1980, All of these power <br />revenues were applied toward the power <br />investment in the storage units and <br />participating projects. Nearly 12 percent <br />of the estimated power investment has <br />now been repaid, The $35% millon repaid <br />
