<br />Operations: The Water and Power
<br />Resources Service administered recreation
<br />facilities at two reservoirs in the Colo-
<br />rado River Storage Project. Temporary
<br />facilities exist at Soldier Creek Reservoir
<br />to accommodate the recreation use during
<br />the years the reservoir is filling. Con-
<br />struction of recreation facilities began at
<br />Soldier Creek during 1979 and will con-
<br />tinue for the next five years. Soldier Creek
<br />is operated by the Utah Projects Office
<br />in Provo, Utah. Fontenelle Reservoir of
<br />the Seedskadee Project in Wyoming is
<br />administered by the Flaming Gorge
<br />Office in Dutch John, Utah,
<br />
<br />Recreation Planning: Planning for recre-
<br />ation progressed during the year. Inves-
<br />tigations were underway on the Dominguez
<br />Reservoir Project, Grand Mesa Project,
<br />and the Ute Indian, Uinta, and Bonneville
<br />Units at the Central Utah Project.
<br />
<br />Advanced Planning: Advanced planning
<br />for the recreation development continued
<br />on the West Divide Project, Dominguez
<br />Reservoir Project, Animas-La Plata
<br />Project, and the San Miguel Project,
<br />

<br />Detailed Site Planning: Detailed site plan-
<br />ning, design, and preparation of contract
<br />specifications continued on McPhee
<br />Reservoir, Dolores Project; Navajo Tail-

<br />Creek Project; and the enlarged Straw-
<br />berry Reservoir and Red Fleet Reservoir,
<br />Central Utah Project.

<br />During fiscal year 1980 improvements
<br />and additions were made at several
<br />storage units and participating projects,
<br />
<br />Wayne N, Aspinall Unit, Colorado, Con-
<br />struction of the administration building
<br />and other recreation facilities at Blue
<br />Mesa Reservoir continued.

<br />Central Utah Project, Utah: Bonneville
<br />Unit, Currant Creek - The construction
<br />of recreation facilities continued.

<br />Bonneville Unit, Soldier Creek: Land was
<br />purchased and the contract for the con-
<br />struction of recreation facilities, includ-
<br />ing campgrounds, recreation access
<br />points, and day-use areas aid sewage
<br />treatment plant, was awarded,
