The elevation of the <br />reservoir is 6491 feet and is increasing. lnflow is currently about 6000 cfs, <br /> <br />Releases will likely remain near 3000 cfs during June. Releases will then be decreased during <br />July as inflow drops off. The reservoir should be full in early to mid July. ; <br />/ <br /> <br />FLAMING GORGE - Releases from Flaming Gorge are now at powerpJant capacity of 4600 cfs, <br />Releases will remain at 4600 cfs until June 13. Releases will then be ramped down by 400 cfs <br />per day until releases have been reduced to 1400 cfs. Releases will likely be reduced below 1400 <br />cfs in late June or early July. Releases will be low in July and August, most likely averaging <br />between 1000 and 1400 cfs on a daily basis. <br /> <br />The Yampa River reached a peak flow of 12,400 cfs on May 24. Flows on the Green River near <br />Jensen peaked at 17,900 cfs (also on May 24). Flows on the Yampa River have now fallen off. <br />It is highly unlikely that flows on the Yampa or the Green River will reach another peak that <br />exceeds those that occurred on May 24. <br /> <br />There has been considerable precipitation in the Upper Green River Basin during the past week. <br />Many of the rain gages in the basin reported over I inch of rain for the week, with some even <br />reporting more than 2 inches, There was also reports of snow at higher elevations. <br />The forecast is for wet and cool weather to continue. <br /> <br />Repair work on the damaged bypass tube at Flaming Gorge is now being completed.
