Generel.-Some of the drawings are typeical designs only and the dimensions of each structure will be fixed by the contracting officer to adapt tha structure to the existing conditions at the structura location. Where details shown on tha 40.0- and 4Q.C. series standard drawings differ from those shown on other drawings ortha requirements of these specifications, tha details shown on the other drawings or required by the specifications shall govern. The contractor shailcheck all drawings carefully and shall advise the contracting officer of any errors or omissions discovered. Except as otherwise provided in these specifications for drawings to be furnished by the contractor, additional detail drawings will ba furnished to the contractor for construction purposes, where nec....ry, as determined by the contracting officer. Some of the drawings included herein show details of fabrication, and other details and specifications not a part of work required under these specifications. Specifications and details shown on these drawings which are not applicable under these specifications shall be disregarded. Reference drawings referred to on enclosed drawings, and not Included herein, are not considered necessary ,for bidding purposes but will be furnished to ~he contractor, where necessary, for ccinstructlon purposes, Where details shown on Standard Drawings (4Q.D. and 40.C. series) differ from those shown on other drawings or the requirements of these specifications, the details shown on other drawings or the requirements of the specifications shall govern. In the event there are minor differences as determined by the contrecting officer betwean details end dimensions shown on the drawings and those of existing feetures at the site, the details and dimensions of existing features at the site shall govern.
