Waters of the Rtrgatoire River shall be stored by the <br /> <br /> <br />District in the irrigation capacity of Trinidad Reservoir <br /> <br /> <br />under rights created under Colorado law; said rights, <br /> <br /> <br />defined as the District storage ri~, include: <br /> <br /> <br />(a) The Model storage right, being tbe right to <br /> <br /> <br />store 20,000 acre-feet of water from the flows <br /> <br /> <br />of tbe Purgatoire River, under reservoir priority <br /> <br /> <br />No. 10 in Water District No. 19 at a rate of <br /> <br /> <br />flow not exceeding 700 cubic feet per second of <br /> <br /> <br />time under date of appropriation of January 22, <br /> <br /> <br />1908, as decreed by the District Court of las <br /> <br /> <br />Animas County, Colorado, on January 12, 1925, <br /> <br /> <br />wbich right Sball, by appropriate statutory <br /> <br /> <br />proceedings be transferred from the place of <br /> <br /> <br />storage as originally decreed to the site of the <br /> <br /> <br />reservoir; and <br /> <br /> <br />(b) Such other rights to store water in tbe reservoir <br /> <br /> <br />as tbe District may laWfully acquire by appro- <br /> <br /> <br />priation or purcbase. <br /> <br /> <br />B. Limits of Land and Water Use <br /> <br /> <br />In order tbat the Trinidad Dam and Reservoir Project may provide an <br /> <br /> <br />optimum beneficial use of water for irrigation within the District, <br /> <br /> <br />the following limitations on land and water use shall apply: <br />
