However, Salinity Reduction Practices (SRP's) have
only been installed in Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. The program will be
expanded to include the other States in future years. The program applies to lands that
are in an identified salt source area, privately owned or controlled land, Indian tribal
land, irrigation district or company land, and State and local government land.

The CRSC is administered cooperatively by the Agricultural Stabilization and
Conservation Service (ASCS), Extension Service (ES), and the Soil Conservation Service
(SCS) of the United States Department of Agriculture. Technical assistance is provided
by the SCS and the ES.

Other agencies involved in the CRSC are: The Agricultural Research Service,
Cooperative State Research Service, Farmers Home Administration, Bureau of
Reclamation, and Fish and Wildlife agencies. Applicants may obtain further information
from any of these agencies.

This summary contains the National and State data for all practice payments made
during the 1993 fiscal year and cumulative data from 1987 through 1993.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) prohibits discrimination in its
programs on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political
beliefs arid marital or familial status.
