Generally, water transfer strategies <br /> <br />were considered as solutions to the problem. <br /> <br />In the Plan of Study for the Water Transfer Studies, five major work categories <br />were identified.E.! These were: review of previous reports, identification <br /> <br />of alternatives, hydrology and hydraulic studies, design and cost estimates, <br /> <br />and environmental studies. <br /> <br />All categori es except hydrol ogi c and hydraul i c <br /> <br />studies are covered in the fol1o,~ing section.
