Of <br /> <br /> <br />importance to the general public will be the knowledge that water resource <br /> <br /> <br />planners and managers will be able to more effectively address the <br /> <br /> <br />water-related problems and issues facing the basin using the technical tools <br /> <br /> <br />developed during the course of this study. <br /> <br /> <br />Study Schedule and Budget <br /> <br /> <br />The schedule for the study is contingent on approval of the plan of study <br /> <br /> <br />by the February 1980 Commission meeting. In addition, it depends on receipt of <br /> <br /> <br />funding in fiscal year 1980 and the ability to move ahead with full State and <br /> <br /> <br />Federal agency participation upon approval of the plan of study by the MRBC <br /> <br /> <br />planning committee. The schedule further depends on Obtaining all necessary <br /> <br /> <br />signatures on the letters of agr~ement such that all work activities can move <br /> <br /> <br />forward ~ March 1, 1980. The schedule of study activities is shown in <br /> <br /> <br />figure 3. <br /> <br /> <br />utilizing centralized funding from the Water Resources Council to the <br /> <br /> <br />Missouri River Basin Commission, funds will be allocated through the Missouri <br /> <br /> <br />River Basin Commission as presented in this plan of study. The total study <br /> <br /> <br />funds as allocated to agencies and work items is shown in table 4. <br />
