Its purpose is to coordinate the review
effort of state agencies involved and to insure that important
issues are known to all reviewers and addressed, where appropriate,
in agency comments. The use of this plan as a guideline should
result in a State level response to the Draft Environmental State-
ment which is,at once, comprehensive, explicit and pertinent.

An interagency meeting has been scheduled to afford reviewers the
opportunity to discuss the major issues and to emphasize important
interests or concerns. Agencies are encouraged to suggest, at
this meeting, specific considerations they would like to see
included in the State's response. Agencies may find it practical
to coordinate their comments to eliminate potential duplication
of effort. By the end of the meeting, each reviewer should be in
a position to prepare final agency comments and the lead agency
should be alert to significant issues, interests and concerns
which bear incorporation into the State's response.

Please
Plan.
agency
Bureau

note carefully the Review Schedule presented in the Work
Ample time must be allowed for the Lead Agency to assimilate
comments and prepare an overall State response before the
of Reclamation I s final deadline. .

Thank you for your cooperation and efforts.

DL/pm
Enclosure

1- pages of enclosure
follow
