Revisions were made in the designs and esti- <br />mates on the Smith Fork Feeder canal and diversion dam and Aspen <br />canal by the area office. The corrected data were resubmitted to <br />the Regional Office where they were reviewed. A portion of the Irri- <br />gation Appendix was submitted to the Regional Office for review. <br />Preparation of the project report was continued. Additional informa- <br />tion was submitted to the Fish and ~ildlife Service to aid. in prepara- <br />tion of its report. <br /> <br />Cliffs Divide Project, Colorado <br /> <br />A reconnaissance survey of a reservoir on Lime Creek and a canal from <br />Lime Creek to Cattle Creek was completed and area capacity data on Crystal <br />Jti.'er reservoirs were assembled. Collection of hydrologic reoords was continued. <br /> <br />,C'Ht Project, Colorado <br /> <br />Designs and estimates for Davie Ditch were brought to 90 percent com- <br />pletion and for Grass Valley Ditch to 80 percent completion by the area office. <br />.',edimentation studies were completed in rough draft form and a review of water <br />requirements was initiated. The land classification was completed and economic <br />~urveys and analyses were continued. <br /> <br />r <br />~, <br />j <br /> <br />San Miguel Project, Colorado <br /> <br />Location of the last 2 miles of the Basin canal (Mail Box Extensian) was <br />abandoned. Another route with a better location was selected and the traverse <br />extended 10 miles which completed the line and tied to the tunnel outlet in <br />Maveric Draw. Level control for the Gypsum Valley Canal was extended 14 miles. <br />A traverse 5 ~iles in length was completed which ties the East Paradox canal to <br />the Basin canal in the west end of Dry Creek Basin. This traverse will be used <br />to determine the length of tunnel required to carry water to East Paradox Valley. <br />An alternate line was run for a power drop near the siphon site across San h,iguel <br />River which ties the Basin Canal into the CCC Ditch, This drop has ahead of <br />219 feet in a distance of 1130 feet. Analyses of the soil samples taken during <br />the sllIl'JTler \~ere completed. Soil Scientist O.
