No. LA-6 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pinon Plaza consists of a truck stop, restaurant, motel and <br />mobile home park which are on the east side of Interstate 25 <br />just south of Trinidad. The sewage is piped under 1-25 and <br />flows to a facultative aerated lagoon. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The lagoon is located in an ahandoned rock quarry, but no evi- <br />dence of seepage was found. Possible expansion of the mobile <br />home park will necessitate further lagoon expansion. The owner <br />will use the land adjacent to the present lagoon if further <br />expansion of the lagoon system is needed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Trinidad Power Plant <br />NPDES #CO-0000914 <br />WQMP 1.0. No. LA-9 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Trinidad Power Plant is located on the east edge of Trinidad. <br />It uses between 50,000-70,000 gpd of make-up water and discharges <br />bleedoff from the cooling towers at a rate of 26,000 gpd. The <br />discharge flows through the old south sewage plant before it enters <br />the Purgatoire River.
