This <br />priority is held by Metropolitan. <br />(c) Priority 5: (i) To the Metropolitan Water <br />District and the City of Los Angeles, 550.000 acre-feet per <br />year and (ii) to the City of San Diego and County of San <br />Diego, 112,000 acre-feet per year. This priority is held by <br />MetrDpDlitan. <br />(d) Priority 6, to Imperial Irrigation District and <br />Palo Verde Irrigation District. 300,000 acre-feet per year; <br />and <br /> <br />(e) Priority 7. all remaining water available for use <br /> <br /> <br />within California. for agricultural use in the Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />River Basin in California. <br /> <br /> <br />These priorities are subject to any prior rights of holders of <br /> <br /> <br />present perfected rights. including r rtain Indian reservations. <br /> <br /> <br />The Authority would be obligated. before diverting any <br /> <br /> <br />water at Lake Havasu, to enter into a contract with the <br /> <br /> <br />Secretary of Interior. Since the entire California entitlement <br /> <br /> <br />has been allDcated by present perfected rights and the existing <br /> <br /> <br />contracts under the Seven Party Agreement, it would be necessary <br /> <br /> <br />to amend that agreement with the consent of the parties and the <br /> <br /> <br />United States. MoreDver, when California is restricted to 4.4 <br /> <br /> <br />million acre-feet a year, there will not be sufficient water <br /> <br /> <br />available to meet a portion of priority 4 and all of the <br /> <br />14. <br />
