Witte <br /> <br />Winter storage began in John Martin Reservoir at 0001 hour, <br />November 1, 1989. At that time the conservation pool was empty and <br />the reservoir accounts contained 27,406.78 a.f. distributed as <br />follDws: 21,953.82 a.f. in Agreement AccDuntS and 5452.96 a.f. in <br />the Permanent Recreation Pool. Winter storage ended at 2400 hour, <br />March 31, 1990. During this period 47,428.22 a.f. was stored. This <br />water was allocated to~ various accounts 'as specified in the <br />Qperatinq Plan adopted by the Compact Administration on April 14, <br />1980 and the transfer of excess water remaining in the Kansas <br />Transit Loss Account at the end of the 88-89 compact year was <br />accomplished in accord with the instructiDns provided by the <br />Operations Committee. <br /> <br />Summer storage began at 0001 hour April 1, 1990 and ended at <br />2400 hour, october 31, 1990. During this period 32,473.99 a.f. was <br />stored, Of this, 1428.51 a.f. was Frying Pan-Arkansas Project water <br />stored for the City of Lamar, CO under an agreement approved by the <br />Compact Administration. An additional 1,197.79 a.f. of <br />transmountain water, purchased by the Colorado Division of Wildlife <br />was stored in the Permanent Recreation Pool. The remainder was distributed to <br />accounts according to the Operatinq Plan. <br /> <br />At the close of the compact year, the reservoir accounts <br />contained 17,588.82 a.f. which is approximately 10,000 a.f. less <br />than on the same date last year. <br /> <br />A statement of expenses incurred by the Operations Secretary <br />in FY 89-90 has been included. <br /> <br />The summary tables I - VIII and XIII reflect the status of <br />the various accounts during the year. Tables IX - XII describe <br />releases that were made during the year. Also included are daily <br />accounting records by month for all accounts. <br />
