001093

.

.

Daily Analysis
The analysis of daily stream flow records together with actual and assumed daily
operations of diversion systems operating on the streams involved, quite obviously is
the best method available for computing precise results. Howaver, because of the vast
amount of computation required, daily analysis of the Blue River operations was confined
to the two minimum years of record, i. e., 1940-1941 and 1953-1954.
In view of the determination of a decree date for the City and County of Denver
as of 1946, the daily analysis of the two minimum years was made under the following
basic criteria:--
I. That Colorado-Big Thompson would operate in accord with the
provisions of Senate Document 80 and under the assumption that
the decree for Green Mountain storage will be dated as of
1937.
a. That the diversions of Denver from the Williams Fork, Fraser
and Blue Rivers would be made in accordance with the normal
operation of the stream on a priority basis.
3. That the Public Service Company of Colorado has a senior
decree for 1250 cfs and:that the same company will make
final its conditional decree dated 1930 for an additional
200 cfs.

~

~-

.
