<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Page 32 <br /> <br />C) <br /> <br />All inflows into John Martin Reservoir during a period <br />of winter storage shall accrue to conservation storage. <br />Conservation storage shall be released into the accounts <br />specified in Subsection II D beginning at the first <br />request for release after March 31 of account water by <br />a Colorado Water District 67 ditch or by Kansas or <br />beginning at 8:00 a.m. on April 7, whichever occurs <br />:first. <br />B. Summer Storage Season- <br />(1) When a runoff event occurs during the summer <br />storage season, such that inflows into John Martin <br />Reservoir are expected to exceed then existing <br />irrigation requirements of the ditches in ColoradO <br />Water District 67 by at least 1,000 acre-feet, <br />then the gates on John Martin Reservoir shall be <br />closed commencing conservation storage except <br />fOr releases of account water pursuant to Subsection <br />II E, herein. <br />(2) The ditches in ColoradO Water District 67 will be <br />removed from the Colorado priority system when the <br />sum of the flows of the Arkansas River at the <br />Las Animas gaging station and the Purgatoire River <br />at the Las Animas gaging station, exclusive of <br />separate deliveries of other water under Section <br />III, herein, indicates that conservation storage <br />will Occur. <br />(3) All inflows entering said reservoir during a period <br />of conservation storage in the summer storage <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />f!1tf7;u!J.,; <br />
