This committee recommends the passing of the following resolution: "BE IT ITESOLVED. that the Stockholders authorize the Board of Directors to borrow from the Wichita Bank for Cooperatives, or any other bank, funds necessary to take caTe of any major damage or emergencies on the ditches or structures of the system caused by floods, or for any other reason unforeseen to us, you, the committee and the stockholders. " Special assessment on equipment purchase: Speclal assess- ment of $1.00 per share; $.50 due April I, 1972 and delinquent May I, 1972; $.50 due September I, 1972 and delinquent October I, 1972, Mter much discussion on this, George Reyher amended the motion on Special assessments to S..SO to take care of equipment purchases due April 1, 1972 and delinquent May 1, 1972. Bill Norton seconded the motion. Motion carried. The Resolution Committee reported as follows: RESOLUTION "BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders of the Amity Mutual Irrigation Company do extend our most sincere sympathies to the families and relatives oC Glen Krieg, C. L. (Lloyd) Rej710Ids, John McGrath Thomas, and John Groenloh, who have become deceased the past year. \\'e have enjo.red working with these, our members, as co- workers for our system and in our community and their contributions to their communities will be forever remembered. Be it further resolved, that copies of this resolution shall be given to the newspapers and sent to their families as a token of our respect. U RESOLUTION "BE IT RESOLVED, that the Stockholders oCthe Amity Mutual Irrigation Companj. do hereby restate and reaffirm their opposition to the creation of a permanent pool in John Martin Reservoir, and do oppOse any and all pending or proposed legislation calculated to create such a pool and do authorize the Officers and Directors of the Company to cooperate fully with other ditches, water users and other like minded parties, in opposing said pool and said legislation.
