The condition of the approximately 62,000
acres of range can be improved through the application of proper
range management techniques. The 13,000 acres of grazeable
woodland provide an opportunity to apply proper woodland grazing.
The 1,300 acres of pasture and hayland can benefit from the
application of pasture and hay land management techniques. There
are many sites needing sediment basins along the 177 miles of
gullies in the watershed. There are also many areas where
diversions would be beneficial. There are also ample
opportunities to do critical area plantings to slow the erosion
along gullies and on structural embankments.

15
