DA VOREN <br /> <br />The Coordinated Planning Subcommittee (CPS) of PS1AC, made up of representatives of these <br />same Federal agencies and States, supervises and staffs the regional TypeI' study program. The actual <br />report preparation in each study sub-region is accomplished by a State-Federal inter-agency group set <br />up by CPS. <br /> <br />These groups are led by designated Federal or State agencies and operate primarily by consen- <br />sus. (They also prepare reports for the bienniel National Assessment of water supplies, a related activ- <br />ity of the CounciL) <br /> <br />THE FACTS & FIGURES <br /> <br />Task forces, made up of specialists from each State and Federal agency involved, produce the <br />many appendices that support each group's main report.
