During the year 1944, the release of <br />usable water from Rio Grande Project storage was 75,600 acre <br />feet in excess of the normal, making a total overdraft of <br />191,500 acre feet to December 31, 1944. <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Article XIII of .the <br />Compact, request was made by the Commissioner for New Mexico <br />fora review by the Commission of New Mexico's schedule of <br />water deliveries required by 'the Compact. The Commission is <br />now engaged in a review of this schedule. <br />The expenses for administration during the fiscal <br />year ending June 30, 1944, were $17,304.00 of which amount, <br />$5,800.00 were borne by agencies of the United States under <br />co-operative agreements.
