Availability and cost of water for augmentation. <br /> <br />A The WAS conducted a public search for infonnation on water supplies potentially available <br />for acquisition by those needing additional augmentation supplies. Based on that survey water <br />isavailable for lease and purchase. The infonnation collected by the WAS willbe made available <br />to the ARCCand its members. <br /> <br />B. In purchasing and changing the use of existing irrigation supplies the WAS recommends <br />that following guidelines should be applied: <br />1. Do not purcbase entire basin augmentation needs from a single geograpbic region <br />to minimize impacts on a) revegetation <br />b )county tax base <br />c) agricultural dependent communities <br />2. Try to buy an entire water right as mucb possible to avoid minority sbarebolder <br />problems. <br />3.
