Spring 2001, The Forum is published by the University of Tennessee and the Tennessee <br />Valley Authority, The title of the article, "Endangered Economies", was selected by the <br />publisher, [Note: The Forum is not copyrighted. so tile article can be distributed,] <br /> <br />Mr, Hansen discusses the Endangered Species Act and its implementation. He concludes the <br />article as follows: <br /> <br />"The Upper Basin and San Juan recovery programs are not without tlaws, but they are <br />achieving the goals ofthe Endangered Species Act while avoiding conflicts with other <br />federal and state laws, This is a truly remarkable achievement.
