<br />It is estimated that groundwater pumping provides 22 percent of the Lotal
<br />farm headgate supply on an average annual basis.
<br />
<br />During 1954, 1955, and 1956 the greatest amount of pumping occurred
<br />with from 11,000 to 12,700 acre-feet being pumped. During 9 of the 15 years
<br />from 5,600 to 9,200 acre-feet of groundwater was pumped.
