were made to the Permanent Pool in John
the 1994 irrigation season by the Colorado
(DOW). One release was from Meredith
release was from Clear Creek and Turquoise

The Meredith Reservoir release began on June 5 and ended on June 6,
1994. A total of 1008.45 acre-feet of Twin Lakes transmountain
water, which the DOW purchased from the City of Colorado Springs,
was released. This release produced 940.94 acre-feet of water in
John Martin Reservoir.

Beginning on June 8 and ending on June 28, 1994 transmountain
water, which the DOW purchased from the Pueblo Board of Water
Works, was released from both Clear Creek and Turquoise Reservoirs
to John Martin Reservoir. This release was quite complex in it's
operation but in summary 7277.82 acre-feet of water was released
(as measured at Pueblo Reservoir), This release amount netted
6806.47 acre-feet of water in John Martin Reservoir.
