Goslin RE: Current activities related to the Colorado Ute Indian Water Rights Settlement Agreement and collateral construction of the Animas- laP1ata Project with emphasis on the endangered species problem. It is a real honor and pleasure to be able to assist in resolving some of the major problems that have developed to impede the progress of implementation of the Colorado Ute Indian Water Rights Settlement and related construction of the Animas-laP1ata Project. We are hoping that through the efforts of everyone involved that ,the results will be construction of the project at an early date. As you all know, I have not been directly participating in these efforts since October, 1988. Consequently, a lot of reorientation has been necessary in order for me to become apprised of current events. Fortunately for me, Bill McDonald, Chips Berry, Sammy Maynes, Ray Kogovsek and his staff, the Bureau of Reclamation and many others have been extremely helpful and cooperative.
