<br />will develop water of the Uncompahgre River and its tributaries In the Upper Colorado River Basin to provide 26,100 acre-
<br />feet annually of municipal and industrial water to the rural towns of Colona, Olathe, Montrose, Delta, and surroundln9
<br />areas, and supplemental water to 20,850 acres of presently inadequately irri9ated land. Benefits for recreation, fish and
<br />wildlife, and flood control will also result. Crops presently grown are livestock feeds, sugar beets, fruit crops, small
<br />grains, alfalfa, corn silage, and pasture. It is anticipated that with project water all of the crop production will be
<br />intens Hied.
