At that <br />time the reservoir contained 257,884.00 af distributed as follows: 191,250.45 af in <br />agreement accounts, 9,469,15 af in the pennanent recreation pool, and 57,164.40 af in the <br />summer compact account Winter storage ended at 2400 hr March 31, 1996. During this <br />period 82,803.12 af was stored. Of this amount, 48,429.88 af was stored in the <br />conservation storage and 34,373.24 af was stored under the Winter Water Storage <br />Program in Article III accounts, This water was allocated to various accounts as specified <br />in the Operating Plan adopted by the Compact Administration on April 14, 1980. <br /> <br />Transfer of Conservation Storage water to accounts began at 0001 hr April I, 1995 at a <br />rate of 1,250 cfs. the conservation storage was emptied at 2152 hr, May 18. During the <br />time that transfer was being accomplished 11,723.04 af was stored under summer <br />conditions. From May 26 - June II a period of storage accumulated 16,394,84 af. On <br />June 16-17 another 3.133.28 afwas stored. Two short storage periods in July yielded <br />1l,446.01 af and from another event during August 20-22 a total of 3,751.63 af was <br />stored. Storage for the period August 24 - September 3 was 13,687.08 af. Three short <br />storage events (September 8 - September 19) accumulated 5,497.73 af. From September <br />25 to October 16 the amount of 10,390.97 af was stored. The final period of October 27- <br />31 showed a storage of 3,998.41 af. Total summer conservation storage was 80,002.39 <br />af, This water was all transferred to accounts as provided for in the 1980 operating plan. <br /> <br />Six runs to the State of Kansas were made during this year. See Tables XIII-a through <br />XIII-f for details. <br /> <br />A total of 883.93 af was stored in the permanent recreation pool during the year. This <br />water was stored in priority under the Colorado Division of Wildlife's Muddy Creek <br />Reservoir decree. See Table VIII for details. <br /> <br />Storage in the amount of 1,581.84 afwas made in the City of Lamar Project Water <br />account in June with the concurrence of the Compact Administration. This water was <br />completely released by September 13. <br /> <br />The residual contained in the transit loss account on October 31 was 19,615.57 af. This <br />was transferred to Kansas and Colorado accounts on November 1, 1996 less 6.30 af <br />evaporation loss, <br />
