Chairman Wehri will follow-up with reply letter on their requests. <br />2. Received letter from Governor Bush, State of T eXll5 that he cannot attend meeting, Chairman <br />Hudson stated it was the fl/'Slleller the A WRBIAC has received from a governor in regards to <br />attending an A WRBIAC meeting. <br />3, Chairman Hudson reported that the Slate of Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, presented Chainnan <br />of the A WRBJAC, Thomas H. Wehri, a special award for his leadership and participation in the <br />A WRBIAC and being nominated for a second term as chairpcr.;on. The award was presented on <br />Oclober 10, 1996, in Liltle Rock, Arkansas. <br />4. Tern Sparks, Oklahoma Water RCSOlIn:cs Board, suggested and recommended adopting a Resolution <br />of Support for the Interstate Council on Water Policy (ICWP) National Water Policy Char1cr. Chuck <br />Armstrong lIIOYed to aa:ept proposal, seconded by Earl Smith, all Wlll'C in favor. <br />S. Motion was made to start the A WRBIAC's Main ComMittee meeting at this time and conclude on <br />October 18. Chainnan Wehri prepared a list on <br />suggested issues.
