20,000 acres of the above figure lie on the Eastern Slope

where water has been diverted from the Colorado Basin for

over twenty years. 75% of preserrt irrigated Western Slope

lands havo ,been rec12irded through the agt;tlcy of comparatively

According to the attached t2ble 0f Irrigated and

Irrigable lands, classified by streams, which is hore: offered
as a part of tho record, (Seo Sxhibit B, Appctldix to Denver
Hearings) and is the basis of t2.blo 3 on the map previously
introduced, (See Exhibit A, Appendix to Dotlver Hearitlgs),

Colorado's revised estimate of future irrigablo lands requir-

ing water froD the Colorado river is 1,925,000 acres. Of

this area 130,000 acres lie on the Eastern Slope und 1,495,000

a~rcs OD the Wostcrtl Slope. The 1,495,000 acres of irrigable

latlds of the vlostertl Slope may be further segrcg2.ted itlto:
