Smaller efforts were
directed at Tasks most of the remaining tasks.

Charges to Task 1 reflect ongoing project management and administration. In July these
irtcluded a TSG meeting on July 25 and consultant team meetings addressing the project
completion schedule. You will note that we have expended our budget for Task 1; I have
addressed this issue in a separate letter enclosed.

Charges to Tasks 2, 3, and 9 are telephone expenses from the previous month.

Charges to Task 4 reflect Muller's work on the Task Memorandum. We have
determined that we inadvertantly overcharged you last fall for some of Muller's Task 4 work.
This matter is also addressed in the separate enclosed letter. As a result you see a credit to
Task 4 this month.

Charges to Task 5 reflect Muller's work on Preliminary Reservoir Design during June
and July (their June invoice was received too late to make it into last months' invoice). Doug
informs me that his efforts have focused on final project evaluation, including service spillway
and primary outlet refinements and cost updating.

Charges to Task 6 reflect extraction of additional model run results related to flow
support operations and documentation of operations studies.

Charges to Task 7' reflect ongoing data analysis and preparation of the Preliminary
Environmental Assessment.

Charges to Task 8 reflect some clarification discussions between Ed and George Smith.

Charges to Task 10 reflect minor refinements to the report outline to assist in Task
Memo drafting.

Charges to Task 11 reflect logistical efforts aimed at scheduling diversion structure
evaluations.

Please feel free to call if you have any questions or comments on our July work effort.

cc: Bob Norman
! /Sue Uppendahl

Hydrosphere Resource Consultants 1002 Walnut Suite 200 Boulder, Colorado 80302

G:\PIIGJECTS\19J\OOl\PIIOGRESS\UNTlnWCREATEO,AU(iUST5.1U43:Z4PMPR'NTEO: A"9U"e. 199410;47AM

,
