OOHH

.

.

MEMORANDUM

TO: Ray Tenney
FROM: Chuck Brendecke
SUBJECT: Progress Report for June. Yampa Basin Study
DATE: July 6, 1994

Our June work effort was distributed among several tasks with the most work being
done on Tasks 2, 6, and 7.

Charges to Task 1 reflect ongoing project management and administration. We are close
to the end of this budget, but I believe what is left will be adequate given the nearness of the
completion date.

Charges to Task 2 reflect activities related to negotiation support. 1 have put the public
meeting in Craig in this category. along with the analyses done for Randy Seal1olm.

Charges to Task 6 reflect the model revisions and scenarios related to flow support
operations. We prepared and distributed a summary of these in anticipation of the June 30
TSG meeting which was subsequently cancelled.

Charges to Task 7 reflect research and writing on the preliminary EA. You will notice a
new name here; Elizabeth Shulman is a new Environmental Technician on our staff who is
helping out with research and some writing.

Charges to Task 8 reflect some continuing discussions related to the BA.

Charges to Task 9 reflect a start on the scheduling of permitting activities.

Charges to Task 10 reflect work related to preparation of base mapping for use in the
final project report.

cc: Bob Norman
Bill Green

Hydrosphere Resource Consultants 1002 Walnut Suite 200 Boulder.
