We had some meetings with our subs in this regard and they also did some
review and writing. In additIon we investigated the Elk Creek gravity feed concept and did a '
model run to assess the effects of moving the Contemplated Draft call to below the Maybell
Canal.

In Task 11 we have been reassembling our Task Technical Memoranda into a first draft
of the final study report, We now have first drafts of the first five chapters of the report. We
have recently hired a new graphics technician who will be helping us produce some better
maps and diagrams for the report.

Billing to Task 9 and 10 mainly reflects working with Doug Laiho and Bill Miller to
coordinate the work efforts for those tasks.

We have now slightly exceeded our Task 7 budget and are close to exceeding our Task 1
budget. However, with the exception of another public meeting in Craig, I think the future
charges to those tasks could be covered by the roughly $3600 that is left in the Task 3 and 5
budgets.

Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or comments on our August
work effort,

cc: Sue Uppendahl
Bob Norman

Hydrosphere Resource Consultants 1002 Walnut Suite 200 Boulder, Colorado 80302

~"MO~l;CTS\155\T...s(1\MEM051.Aore"eAI1!D: sene..ge"..
