The meetings <br />were held on June 25, 1984, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, <br />and June 27, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nevada. A supple- <br />ment, including modifications to the report based on <br />comments and suggestions received, is also enclosed. <br />The attached supplement was approved by the Forum on <br />July 25, 1984. The report and the supplem~nt <br />constitute the 1984 review of the Colorado River <br />salinity standards. <br /> <br />Section 303(c) (1) of the Clean Water Act <br />requires that: <br /> <br />The Governor of a State or the State <br />water pollution control agency of such <br />State shall from time to time (but at <br />least once each three year period beginning <br />with the date of enactment of the Federal <br />Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of <br />1972) hold public hearings for the purpose <br />of reviewing applicable water quality <br />standards and, as appropriate, modifying <br />and adopting standards. Results of such <br />review shall be made available to the <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />2 <br />
