<br /> <br />;.' <br /> <br />OD'1878 <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />NEBRASKA <br />Field data collected in the Fullerton-Elba-Scot1a area and in the area <br />of the proposed Geranium and M1rdan canals was compiled and the preparation <br />of a report based on these data was begun. <br />Underflow across the state line into Nebraska within the Niobrara River <br />drainage basin was estimated from meaeurements of the increase in discharge <br />of the Niobrara River in a selected reach. <br />Water-level measurements were made in observation wells in the Elkhorn <br />River basin and in the Ainsworth unit. <br /> <br />KANSAS <br />Some field work, inclUding the drilling of tbree test holes, was done <br />in the Kansas River valley between Wamego and Junction City. The draft of <br />the report on the Kansas River valley between Topeka and Wamego was given <br />additional review. <br />Water-level measurements were made in observation wells in the Bostwick, <br />Glen Elder, Kanopol1s, Kirwin, Webster, and Wilson units. <br /> <br />2. <br />
