In general, the information provided seems to be ql1ite
good. A few items that cOl1ld use refinement are:

1. Page 7 - It seems that the general goals and objectives should be
for the State ofMissol1ri and 'lot li!nited to the DNR. Those pre-
sented seem to be general e'lol1gh to, cover most functions of ,tate
.government.

2. Page 20 - Title indicates the areas are administered by the
Missouri Department of Conservation, federal agencies, and
private concerns. However, there is no indication of areas
adminis tered by this Department, or the Fish and Wildlife
Service.

3. Pages 22 and 23. Is "prioritized" a word?

4. Page 34 - The instream flow needs of fish should be recognized--
at least with sidlilar langl1age as "Modified Riparian Doctrine
Prevails ".

Hopefully these minor comments will be useful. 1f you have questions, call.

Sincerely,

\.A.>"_\,Lc<">..-.,,

'1\ \ .'-' \J ~, iv.,., J ,
'" \ I~. \ ~ i, ~)

WILLIAM H.
