He <br />also raised a question concerning <br />the irrigation projections for <br />southeast Kansas. He commented <br />that the projections for that <br />area are probably too low. <br /> <br />By letter of April 29, 1976, <br />Mr. Burris noted the absence of <br />data for surface water require- <br />ments for recreation and fish <br />and wildlife purposes. <br /> <br />During conversation with John <br />Henderson, Kansas Water Resources <br />Board staff, Mr. Bredahl raised <br />questions regarding irrigation <br />projections for Brown and <br />Doniphan counties and for the <br />southeast Kansas region. He also <br />raised a question about the <br />quantity of land projected for <br />mining purposes. <br /> <br />During a telephone conversation, <br />Mr. Hersch raised a question <br />concerning the amount of <br />irrigated acreages from surface <br />water sources in the Kansas <br />River subbasin (ASA 1010). <br /> <br />By memorandum of May 12, 1976, <br />Mr. Griesel, at the direction of <br />the Framework Update Committee, <br />raised questions concerning the <br />present amount of irrigated <br />acreage, irrigation water <br />withdrawal, and irrigation <br />consumptive use.
