<br />t:I <br />I <br />01> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />::a <br />tD <br />< <br />.... <br />tIl <br />tD <br />0. <br />~ <br /> <br />EXAMPLE OF <br />INTERSTATE WATER BANK OPERATION <br /> <br />· The Seven State Forum accepts Colorado's and Wyoming's offers in total and 14,378 <br />acre-feet of Utah's offer, agreeing to pay approximately $3.08 million, $2.72 mil/ion, <br />and $1.32 mil/ion, respectively. <br /> <br />· Metropolitan, Central Arizona Water Conservation District, and Las Vegas Valley <br />Water District pay $93.72 per acre-foot to California, Arizona, and Nevada, respectively. <br /> <br />· Payments of approximately $2.62 milIion, $4.12 million, and $0.37 million are made by <br />Arizona, California, and Nevada, respectively, to the Seven State Forum. Arizona and <br />Nevada utilize funds in their escrow accounts to make payments. <br /> <br />· The Seven State Forum pays Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Colorado, Utah, and <br />Wyoming pay individual entities making water available and utilize funds to pay <br />administrative costs. <br /> <br />· Arizona and California divert their water from the Interstate Water Bank and Nevada <br />stores its Interstate Water Bank water in Lake Mead. Nevada has 196,000 acre-feet <br />of capacity remaining to store Interstate Water Bank water. <br />
